  10.        This release note documents Xinet Inc.'s AppleTalk network
  11.        Protocols and Services software package.  This product enables
  12.        file and printer sharing with Macintoshes and other AppleTalk-
  13.        aware machines.

  15.        The entire suite of AppleTalk services are controled by the
  16.        _a_p_p_l_e_t_a_l_k chkconfig(1m) option.  If you are installing this
  17.        software yourself, it will be turned on automatically.  If it
  18.        was pre-installed by SGI, you may need to run the commands:

  20.               chkconfig appletalk on
  21.               /etc/init.d/atalk start
  22.  
  23.        to enable and start the package.
  24.  
  25.        AppleTalk services are configured and tested using a set of GUI
  26.        administration programs accessed through the _S_y_s_t_e_m item in
  27.        the _T_o_o_l_C_h_e_s_t menu.  Command-line programs are installed in
  28.        /usr/etc/appletalk, and configuration, database and log files
  29.        are located in /var/adm/appletalk.

  31.        In addition to installed _m_a_n(1) pages, there is an Insight Guide
  32.        that documents the features of the various AppleTalk services.
  33.        If you have a CD from Xinet, it contains an HTML version of the
  34.        documentation which may be more up to date than the installed
  35.        Insight version.  Printed manuals are available from:
